Happy New Years eve eve!
Our bodies over time will wither and die.
All feelings of happiness, anger, grief, sorrow, excitement, etc. never last for long. The angry thoughts in our minds do dissolve away eventually.
Objects of desire: people, cars, material goods, etc. are also subject to change. If we cling to these objects forever then we suffer as we see them change.

hmm. not so sure that people, as objects of desire, are equatable with things like cars and stuff. i mean people change. but umm material things remain the same?
but i suppose it is technically possible to want a person in the same way you want a car. acquisitive spirit. *muses* interesting.
